Wireless: Does the FS II beltpack display know when I'm using AA non rechargeable batteries?

The Freespeak II beltpack electronics has the ability to tell the user that they are using AA non-rechargeable alkaline batteries in the battery compartment.  The display battery icon will show AA above the battery icon.  Alkaline AA batteries will power the beltpack for approximately 4 to 6 hours.
If you ACCIDENTLY place the FS II beltpack in a AC60 charger the FS II BP display will read:

Caution: Only use the battery charger with the
supplied rechargeable batteries. If you use the
charger with any other batteries, serious damage
or injury could result.
