Partyline: Can I use the Gateway product with a PL system and still trigger the radio using Call signal?
Solution dated 23-Mar-15One of our dealers asked if the Gatewayproduct could have a dedicated 2w PL interface? The only option at the moment that I can think of would be touse a 2/4wire interface like the EF-701M As that would allow the 2w call signal to trigger the PTT on thegateway,- You are correct you can use aEF-701M to convert the 2-wire to 4-wire and the call signal will trigger thePTT.- You can also do VOX triggering keying with theCC-Gateway.
