I can't register my beltpacks to the DX210 base
I can't register my beltpacks to the DX210 base
Q: Our system worked fine just last week but now the beltpackscannot communicate. We have tried thereset button and attempted to register the beltpacks but to no avail("registration failed").
A: When the system comprises only one DX210 base, the first thing to check is the status display, since it's only one base it should be set for "primary" and the display should be blank. If it shows a dash, it means that the base is set for secondary.
To set the base to "primary", power off the base and change the "Primary/Seconday" switch on the rear panel to the "primary" position. Then proceed with the beltpack registration process.
Since the base was in secondary mode when the "reg" button was pushed and the status display showed "o", the base was really looking for the primary base, that is the reason why the beltpacks couldn't be registered. Once the switch is set to primary the registration can be carried out.
The registration process with multiple bases is different, please refer to the DX210 manual, appendix D, page 23 for further information.
