Matrix: How do I change / delete an existing V-Series rotary key panel IP password?

The IP panel Password screen doesn't have a "clear" key to delete or change an existing password. It can be manually deleted or changed by following this procedure:
1. Press "PASSWORD" talk button from the IP SETUP menu.
2. The encoded password will be visible as "star" characters on the display screen of the panel. (**********)
3. In the display window (The key) showing the "star" characters. Press & Hold the down the rotary listen key button.
4. After 3-4 seconds the display will clear and show (--------------)
5. Press the highlighted "PASSWORD" talk key, to exit the password menu.
6. Press "PASSWORD" talk key from the IP SETUP menu, the password should now be deleted / blank (---------------)
7. Press the password character talk button keys to enter a new password, press "PASSWORD" talk key to enter the new password and exit.
