Wireless: Customer wants to upgrade their FreeSpeak basestation to V2.0.3 what are the options

Customer is planning to upgrade their FS-10 to the latest S/W. Do they need a validation code for that? Or to buy an option? 

There are two simple options 
a) Upgrade FS10 to latest software – no code required, you can download the s/w from our web site 

  • The unit still supports 10x beltpacks

  • The only thing to check is the serial number of the unit, if the serial number is less than 1761.

  • Then you need to purchase the CEL-FS-BS-UPGRADE as well


b) Upgrade a FS10 to become a FS20

  • The unit will now support 20x beltpacks

  • You need to purchase the FS-UPGRADE-V2 package which will provide you with a passcode and latest software

  • You also need to check the serial number of the unit, if the serial number is less than 1761.

  • Then you need to purchase the CEL-FS-BS-UPGRADE as well
