Solution update: Jan-09Most modern Laptops or PCs made after 2004 will auto-cross a Straight 1-to-1 Ethernet cable if it senses that 2 HOST machines are trying to talk to each other.Therefore depending on the age of your  PC you may be able to use a straight CAT5 cable and the PC will turn it into a Ethernet cross-over cable internally when connected to Clear-Com unit.
