Matrix: How do I add Tempest to an existing Eclipse Party-line conference?

Question:  I have an existing Eclipse system that is already wired to a hardwired PL system via CCI-22 interfaces. I'm adding a Tempest 2400 2 channel to.  I plan on connecting the Tempest system to the Eclipse frame via 4-wire CAT-5 connections, I want the Tempest users to be able to hear the wired PL comms and the panel users on the 2 Eclipse conferences.  How do I set this up?
Answer:  Because you already have the wired PL configured and setup on the Eclipse, so that Eclipse panels can talk /listen to the wired PL system via the Eclipse matrix partylines / conferences ... all we need to do is include the Tempest into the Eclipse matrix partyline/ conferences
Follow this procedure to integrate the new Tempest system to the existing Eclipse frame and add Tempest to the two existing PL conferences:
1.  Find two unused ports on your Eclipse frame and declare them as "Directs" and give them unique names for Tempest 4-wire channels A and B.  Connect the Tempest base station 4-wire ports to the Eclipse frame ports via standard CAT-5 cables and activate the 4-wire ports on the Tempest base station.

2.  The next step is to add the two new Tempest ports to existing Eclipse party-lines, so navigate to the Party-Line menu in ECS.  Select the first party-line (PL01) which is the production PL and add the Tempest Ch A to this PL as a permanent member from the available members list on the left hand side of the screen to the attached members list on the right hand side of the screen as shown below:

3.  Repeat this process for the second party-line (Director PL) by moving Tempest B from available to attached members column.

4.  Go to the "Apply Changes" button in ECS and click on it to open the Downloads dialog screen.  Click on the "Options" button, this will open the advanced options for downloads dialog screen, place a check mark on the "Reset Frame after download check mark box.  It is necessary to reset the frame due to the fact that two new ports were declared in ECS back in step 1.  A frame reset will properly initialize the new ports.

5.  After the frame resets the Tempest 4-wire ports A and B are now part of the Eclipse party-lines PL01 and PL02 and ready to use.
