The DX Beltpac were designed with the electret microphone element in mind like the HS-15 headsets
The MD-XLR adapter allows the user to use dynamic microphone headsets with the BP200/210/300 beltpacs. However due to the characteristic differences between the two types of microphone elements there will be a difference in how the headset sounds to the user. You cannot use an electret type headset with the MD-XLR adapter.
