Matrix: Can I wire up a footswitch to an ICS-2003 panel to toggle talks on/off?

The miscellaneous DB-15 connector on the rear panel of the ICS-2003 can be used to achieve toggling talks on and off via a foot switch.
Logic inputs 1 and 2 can be used to do this. Once the foot switch is wired to a logic input (logic 1 - pin 5, logic 2 - pin 12, logic grounds pins 4 and 11) the user will go to ECS and open the matrix hardware screen. Go to the port the ICS-2003 resides on and go to the advanced settings column and look for Logic Input 1 or 2 and select the function of the logic input via the pull down menu (for example select mic on/off or activate talk switch 1 or activate talk switch 2).
Once this is accomplished apply the change in ECS to enable the change in the panel.
