Wireless: DX210 unit not remembering PL status when powered down

One of our customers had a problem with a DX210 base station whereit didn’t ‘remember’ its settings after being power cycled.  They triedchanging the battery but no change.  We’ve sent them a loan unit but this appears to behave in exactly the same way!  Here’swhat they say: We leave ourDX210 powered ON in the racks, then power up & power down the racks usingan EMO (19" rack mount AC power strip)  master switcher. Each time we power up the racks, we have to select the“2 wire” interface button in order for the unit to speak to our Telex basestation, because the settings aren’t remembered between power cycles….However, if youphysically switch OFF the unit first, then perform a power cycle using the EMO,when the DX210 is subsequently power ON, the settings are restored…Being as bothunits are doing this, is this the correct behavior, or is there a faulty batchof units?
SolutionI tried have the following setup PS-702 connected to DX210 IC1chnlWhen there is no PL power onboot up then it turns off the DX210 2W led
If there is PL power on boot upit turns on the 2W led.   I am guessing that your PS-702is on a different EMO switch? Alternatively you could set theunit to by-pass power detect (see page 28 of the DX210 manual)
