Matrix: Does Clear-Com make an interface frame for the E-QUE, IVC-32, E-FIB cards?
Matrix: Does Clear-Com make an interface frame for the E-QUE, IVC-32, E-FIB cards?
Question: I have several Eclipse Pico frames on OB Vans and want to incorporate CellCom Integra on these frames. Does Clear-Com make an interface frame that the E-QUE card can fit in and use with the Pico series frames?
Answer: The E-QUE, IVC-32, LMC-64 and E-FIB cards will only fit and work with the Median and Omega series frames. Eclipse Pico frames have no capability to fit or use these specific cards.
Several options are still open to Pico matrix users to achive the same functions of the cards stated above
EQUE - Wireless mode The EQUE card when fitted into an Eclipse frame allows CellCom digital wireless beltpacks to become fully integrated in the matrix setup and operation You can connect serveral different wireless systems to a Pico matrix -WBS-670 and 680 analog UHF wireless, -Pro850 analog UHF wireless-CellCom standalone 1.92 to 1.93GHz Digital Wireless system-Tempest 900MHz and 2400MHz digital wireless systems. -DX200 or DX210 2400Mhz digital wireless systemsAll the wireless systems mentioned can be connected to the Pico via direct 4wire ports or via a 2-wire Party-line when a CCI-22 interface card is used. IVC-32 - IP connected V-series panelsThe IVC-32 card when fitted into an Eclipse frame allows upto 32 remotely connected V-series panel over IP You can connect Remote IP panels to a Pico matrix using the Voice2 IP interfaceThe Voice2 can connect up to 4 remote panels over IP to a Pico matrixVisit Clear-Com web site for details of our Voice2 unit
LMC-64 - metering cardThe LMC-64 card is used as part of the Production Maestro PC software application. Production Maestro allows for real time, fast and effective 4wire and conference management. The LMC-64 compliments the software by allowing upto 64 virtual VU meters to be placed on any selected 4wire port (input / output) or conference in order to monitor its audio level. With Production Maestro running on a PC the user can also assign a single VU meter that uses the PC sound card to sample the audio on any selected 4wire port (input / output) or conference in order to monitor its audio level and display it on a single VU meter
E-FIB - (Fibre trunking card)The E-FIB card when installed in an Eclipse frame - allows multiple frames to be networked (trunked) together via fibre so that they operate as one large system. Where users on system # 1 can talk to other users on system # X. The E-FIb card offers dual redundant fibre connections with self healing properties.Pico matrices can be networked (trunked) together also with other Pico / Median / Omega Eclipse frame. The trunking method uses analogue 4wire balanced audio lines. These analog trunk lines however can be easily converted by any 3rd party Audio to Fibre device to provide the distance, isolation and bandwidth of Fibre networks.
