HelixNet: How are the HMS-4X interface slots numbered?

Question:  How can I tell the slot numbering on the back of a HelixNet HMS-4X main station? The interface slots don't
have any numbering scheme associated with them.

Answer:  Slot 1 is closest to the center of the HMS-4X main station, slot 2 is next and slot 3 is closest to the edge of
the main station as shown in the diagram below.

Any module type can be inserted into a specific interface slot, but the user will have to declare the interface type in the web
browser or via the front panel progamming menus.  If the wrong type of interface card is selected the user will get an error
message in the web browser CCM.
For each module, chose between 3 types:
  • None/Ethernet/Fiber
  • 2-wire
  • 4-wire
