Wireless: What power options do I have with the FS II Transceiver?

Question:  What are my power options using FS II Transceivers with Eclipse E-QUE card and with the FS II enabled base station?
Answer:
FS II Transceivers on a Freespeak II base station:
+24Vdc Power is supplied to both E1 connectors on the base station. This will allow the user to power connected splitters and transceivers directly from the base station. This mode of operation is good up to 600 - 700 feet of CAT-5 24 gauge cable. For longer CAT-5 runs it is advised that the user either locally power the CEL-SP splitter or locally power the FS II transceivers for reliable operation.
FS II Transceivers on a Eclipse Matrix running EHX 7.6.0 or higher system:
The E-QUE card E1 connectors do not supply +24Vdc.
In order to power FS II transceiver antennas the user must - locally power a CEL-SP splitter if the user has configured the system in EQUE FSII TA-splitter mode or - directly (locally) power each FS II Transceiver if the user has configured the system in EQUE FSII TA-antenna mode
