Matrix: How do I run Production Maestro to start up with a preset associated panel and meter ports
Production Maestro can be set up to start with preset associated panel and meter ports. Taking these steps makes it simple for a individual users to simply click on the Production Maestro shortcut, and they will automatically get either their associated panel linked up, and a meter port preset on the Eclipse frame.
Adding startup options to Production Maestro is done by extension modifiers, which can be easily added to a standard shortcut.
To enter Production Maestro with a preset associated panel or meter port, you need to start the program using the correct modifiers.The simplest way to do this is to:- Create a shortcut to the Production Maestro exe- Right Click on the shortcut, and select 'Properties'- Enter the 'Shortcut' tab in the popup window- Add a space, followed by modifier desired at the very end of the Target line
/ASSOCIATED-PANEL - this option allows the system administrator to set up a command line that will specify the associated panel to be used. The format of the command line is:/ASSOCIATED-PANEL=PORT.<system number>.<port number> for example /ASSOCIATED-PANEL=PORT.1.3 for port 3 on system 1.
/ASSOCIATED-METER-PORT - this option allows the system administrator to set up a command line to specify the port on the matrix that is connected to the PC audio input. This allows Production Maestro to meter an audio level without using an LMC-64 card. The format of the command line is:/ASSOCIATED-METER-PORT=PORT.<system number>.<port number>
