Wireless: HME DX210 to Motorola CP200 or other handheld radio.

Wireless: HME DX210 to Motorola CP200 or other handheld radio.

The question at hand is regarding interfacing the HME DX210 with a separate system of handheld wireless radios (for example the Motorola CP200). We use these radios for staff to assist in tasks like truck loading/unloading, and show coordination, whereas the HME DX210 would be primarily used for show operation and to interface with existing wired comm units in whichever venue we may be operating in.
Is it possible to configure or connect the HME DX210 to send and receive transmissions from a radio handset like the Motorola CP200?
Answer:  It would require some audio and electrical trickery to accomplish. The audio ports (4-wire and AUX IN and AUX OUT) that are available on the DX210 are line level audio and there is a relay switch that is operated by use of the ISO function on the wireless ports. ISO is initiated from the wireless beltpacs.  Depending on the handheld radio audio levels it would require some type of gain control for levels to match between the handheld radio and the DX210 ports. You would also need to determine the type of triggering the handheld requires from the DX210 to pass audio utilizing the ISO relay. We have no off the shelf solution to your situation utilizing a DX product.
