Wireless: How can I tell if I have the correct config editor software GUI for FS II base station?
Question: How can I tell if I have the correct config editor software GUI for a Freespeak II base station system?
Answer: Open the config editor software. The user should see the following screen. At the bottom left hand side of the software GUI the user should see the version number: Example v1.49.42.0
The customer can then compare and verify the version against the product release note
The other way to verify the GUI version would be to right click on the Clear-Com logo on the upper left-hand corner of the software GUI screen and select "About Freespeak II Map Editor", this will open a new dialog box with the version information: Ver 1.49.42.0
Solution dated Feb-2015
v1.49.42.0 config editor GUI supports V1.0.0 and V1.1.0 Freespeak II base station systems ONLY
v2.0.0.31 config editor GUI supports CellCom / Freespeak 2.0.0 --> 2.1.0 firmware version systems ONLY
v1.5.7.003 config editor GUI supports CellCom / Freespeak 1.5 --> 1.5.7 firmware version systems ONLY
