Wireless: Freespeak II base2 4-wire audio ports

Question:  I'm connecting a Freespeak II base2 to a HelixNet HMS-4X main station via 4-wire ports on both stations.
Will I have to construct an CAT-5 audio crossover patch cable to get the audio connection?
Answer:  You can use a standard CAT-5 patch cable to make the connection.  The Freespeak II base2 4-wire ports can be flipped electronically using the CCM web browser interface.
1)  Go to the Home page, select Ports and highlight the desired 4-wire ports
2)  Scroll down the list of port settings and look for "Port Function".
3)  Using the pull down selections select "To Panel"
This will electronically flip the send / receive pairs on the RJ45 connector so that a standard CAT-5 patch cable will work.
See picture below for more detail.

Note:
if connecting a FSII Base2 to a Helixnet, Tempest or DX basestation set the port "to panel" and use a straight CAT5 cable
if connecting a FSII Base2 to a Eclipse MVX port or Pico port set the port "to matrix" and use a straight CAT5 cable
