Wireless: DX BP BAT50 battery not reading correctly, powering up BP or not charging
If you find aBAT50 is not reading correctly or not powering up your DX BP please trythe following:
The minimumworking voltage to power the battery’s fuel gauge and authenticationcircuit is 2.7V. Abattery with a lower voltage in this condition may appear to be ‘defective’ because of longerthan usual time to re-charge and recover from the low condition. It is recommended to recharge a battery for at least 5-6hours when it’s in this low voltage condition before deciding to exchange it out. Please note, Federal and International regulationrequire that Li-Ion batteries are packaged separately and to be no more than30% charged when transported. To meet this requirement, our Li-Ion batteriesare shipped at ≤30% of voltage capacity.
