Helixnet: HelixNet endpoint does not retain key assignments after powercycle

PROBLEM: 
A HelixNet endpoint (HBP, HXII-BP, HRM, HKB) running in Local Config comes up with empty keysets whenever the endpoint is powered up. 

SOLUTION: 
Reset the troublesome endpoint to default from the Devices Administration screen, or from the CCM (Web-based GUI).  
*The reset should only be done for the device with the issue, not the entire system. 
The new keyset assignment should now be retained upon power cycle.
