The current system timeouts connection on one interface before changing over to the alternate interface. For seamless handovers it's normally required to support both the primary and backup paths to be simultaneously active ... this configuration is not supported by Agent-IC on smartphones.
Connection Agent-IC to a Wi-fi mesh network or via a bonded cellular carrier may be alternate to create a more resilient connection.
