Matrix: How secure are V-series panel TCP ports?
Matrix: How secure are V-series panel TCP ports?
We have multiple Clear-Com VS12 and VS24 Panels that are showing a security vulnerability due to some TCP ports being open but un-used
Can we update to the latest version to disable these un-used TCP ports?
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Solution
The latest version of V-Series panel App V3.33 or later has increased security by disabling certain TCP ports and requesting user login and password for those ports that are used for IP communication
If you are upgrading from a previous 3.33 version you will need to upgrade manually each panel using the TFTP method.
