The Remote Antenna Kit allows the antenna to be mounted up to 6 feet (1.83 meters) from the DX200 base station for improved antenna coverage. This allows the user to place the antennas from a DX200 or DX210 base station mounted in a equipment rack on the top of the rack to improve the antenna coverage out to the wireless beltpac or wireless headset users.
Since all DX base stations use two transmit / receive antennas either one of the antennas or both antennas can be remotely located to improve beltpack coverage indoors or outdoors. The antenna extension kit contains the following components:
