Some HelixNet Belt Packs flash their Talk buttons red and don't boot up

if only SOME of the HBPs fail in this fashion to boot up, this indicates that the HBP power is insufficient (suspect the +3 VDC not functioning)They will only load their SW if the internal power is sufficient to successfully power up the beltpack.
These belt pack will have to be sent in for repair.
