Partyline: MS-702 main station displays false call signal indication when connected to CCI-22 interface card

Partyline: MS-702 main station displays false call signal indication when connected to CCI-22 interface card

Question:  I have a CCI-22 card that is generating a false call signal indication to a MS-702 party-line main station.  When I remove the CAT-5 cable from the CCI-22 to the Eclipse frame the call signal indication goes away.  I've applied a RED reset to the Eclipse frame, but the tally is always there.  We did have an initial issue with the CCI-22 to MS-702 linking cable being mis-wired, but that was fixed.  All the Eclipse panels have no active keys set to the CCI-22 and auto signal isn't active.  Is the CCI-22 defective / bad?

Answer:  The first thing to try is a BLACK reset on the Eclipse frame, it is entirely possible due to the miswired cable connecting from the CCI-22 to the MS-702 that a false call signal was generated and the Eclipse port is stuck generating a false call signal.  Initiating a BLACK reset will reset the frame and reset all active crosspoints / signalling to their inactive state coming from the Eclipse frame.
Select Apply changes > select options > select the clear-frame data check box (this will also check the reset frame box as well)
