Partyline: Can I interface an MS-702 main station to an Eartec 24G wireless headset system?
Partyline: Can I interface an MS-702 main station to an Eartec 24G wireless headset system?
Question: I have an Encore party-line system at our church and someone donated an Eartec 24G wireless headset system. I would like to connect the two systems together, can you let me know if this is possible?
Answer: Eartec makes an adapter module that would allow you to connect their wireless headset system to a 2-wire unbalanced intercom system. You will need to get the proper adapter module as they support Clear-Com, Telex, RTS, PortaCom and HME 2-wire interfaces. The adapter uses a 3-pin XLR connection to the desired wired intercom system.
