Wireless: Can I change the Tempest base station operating mode via the front panel Menu / Enter buttons?

Question:  I'm onsite with a Tempest 2400 system with 2.10.01 firmware / radio firmware 1.15.  Can I change operating modes via the front panel programming on the base station, I don't have access to the programming software on a PC?
Answer:  Yes, via the front panel programming buttons on the Tempest base station the user can change from Normal Mode to Split Mode and or Shared Mode.  The base station must have 2.00.01 firmware or higher and the radio firmware in the base station must be 1.15 or higher to use all three operating mode.
To change the mode the base station operates in from the base station follow these steps:
1. Press the base station Menu button to access the menus
2. Scroll to item 5 on the Main Menu (Mode Settings) and press the Enter button
3. Scroll to item 1 on the Mode Setting Menu and press the Enter button
4. In the Mode Setting Menu the user can select from the following items:
    (1) Normal Mode
    (2) Split Mode
    (3) Shared Mode
5. Scroll to the desired mode of operation and press the Enter button to place the check mark next to it.
6. Press the Menu button to back out of the menus.
7. The base station LCD screen should reflect the operating mode selected.
Looking for labels? They can now be found in the details panel on the floating action bar.
