Partyline: Does Clear-Com interface directly into 8 ohm speaker type systems?

Question:  I need to interface a 8 ohm speaker type system into a Clear-Com party-line system.  Can this be done via an IF4w4 interface?
Answer:  The IF4W4 is a 2-wire to 4-wire converter, the 4-wire side of the interface is rated for 600 ohms so attempting to bridge it to an 8 ohm source would load the 4-wire circuits noticeably.
There are some third party devices that would allow the user to successfully bridge from a 8 ohm speaker system to a balanced line level output that could be fed to a Clear-Com 2-wire system.  One such device is made by RDL, it is called a TX-8A.  Here is a link to the RDL website and the TX-8A:  http://www.rdlnet.com/product.php?page=666

A PDF of the TX-8A is attached below.
