IP-Voice: What are some solutions for combatting VoICE issues?
VoICE issues in TV3 were solved by:
• Setting Data Framing to NONE from Eclipse/4000 even when using V-Panels.
• ISP service was improved
• Using only the LINEAR codec to decrease processing
Most of the remote reset issues were caused by the V-Panel not dealing with network fluctuations. Removing data framing had the most impact, and I am told that there is a newer, better serial driver available for the V-Panel, but that due to testing requirements it will not be available soon.
Solution update:Nov-09 Vseries panels firmware updated to 0.76 do resolve matrix to panel data comms issues
