Matrix: How far can I place a IMF-3 / IMF-102 frame away from the matrix
Matrix: How far can I place a IMF-3 / IMF-102 frame away from the matrix
The answer depends on the type of interfaces fitted in the IMF frame As standard you can place the IMF frame (inc PSU-101) 150m away from the matrix However if the IMF interface frame is fitted with GPI-6 or RLY-6 cards then the IMF frame can only be placed maximum of 6 meters away from the matrix. This is because the overall maximum cable length that inter-connects all the GPI-6 and RLY-6 cards back to the matrix has a max length of 6m
