HelixNet: Can't save Helixnet v3.0 configuration or support log to USB Stick
HelixNet: Can't save Helixnet v3.0 configuration or support log to USB Stick
Question: Has anyone had any success in saving HelixNet V3.0 settings to a USB stick? I hadn’t tried before but I’ve just tried on four units with three USB sticks and I get ‘write failed’ every time. I have used the sticks for firmware upgrades many times successfully and the HMS/HRM can see the stick OK.
Answer: Saving from the front panel will fail if the hostname contains a space. Remove the space and replace with an underscore and repeat the save process to the USB stick. It should be successful.
