Digital Partyline: Does the Helixnet basestation have a Remote Mic Kill function

Digital Partyline: Does the Helixnet basestation have a Remote Mic Kill function

I have a Helixnet basestation connected to a RTS (TW) wired BP system . Can I send a  Remote Mic Kill (RMK) signal to the wired RTS (TW) wired BPs
Answer:
Q1. If the Helixnet basestationpresses its RMK button (2w module is set in RTS mode)-         Would the Helixnet BP to stop talking (YES)-         Would the RTS mainstation  stop talking (NO)-         Would the RTS BP  stop talking  (YES)*looking at the manual RMKoutput needs to be enabled (YES, default value is Enabled)   Q2. If the RTS mainstationpresses their RMK button -         Would the Helixnet BP to stop talking (YES)-         Would the Helixnet (2w module is set in RTSmode) basestation  stop talking  (YES,will unlatch the talk for that channel only)-         Would the RTS BP  stop talking  (YES)*looking at the manual RMK inputneeds to be enabled (YES, default value is Enabled)   Q3. When pressing RMK , it sendsRMK to all chnls on the Helixnet mainstation -          (YES)-         Even if the talk button is NOT latched on (YES)*it does not matter if the 2wmodule is set in CC or RTS mode
The subtlety here is that if forexample you have 3 mainstations linked and therefore 12 channels (A to L). IfMainstation 1 currently listens to Channels A, B, D, and F, pressing RMK onthat Mainstation will only RMK channels A, B, D and F, not the other 8channels. It doesn’t have anything to do with the Talk being latched on theMainstation.
