Other: What are the pinouts for Motorola 2-way radios with 13 pin accessory connector?
Many Motorola 2-way portable radios have a 13 pin accessory connector jack that allows them to use remote speaker mic units for communications, using an inexpensive speaker mic and cutting off the speaker mic end the user can wire up the cable to a Clear-Com TW-40 or TW-47 interface for party-line intercom use or using a FOR-22 interface card the user can connect a 2-way radio to a Matrix +3 or ECS / EHX enabled Eclipse frame. The diagram below shows the pinouts for the Motorola 2-way radios with the 13 pin accessory connector wired to TW-47 interface for party-line applications and FOR-22 interface for Matrix digital applications.
