I want to take a PL intercom chnl -A from my MS-702 and patch it to several points around the studio. So that any user connected into the patch will be connected to Chnl-A back to the MS-702
Answer: Yes. You will need to feed the partyline channel into one of the patch points as a master feed. From this you can then split the signal to the remaining panel points to be used by the belt packs or panels?
Clear-Com single channel pin outs are:
Pin 1- GroundPin 2- 30v DC PowerPin 3- Audio and Call Signal
You need to ensure that each patch point is connected to each pin for all to listen/talk and have call signal passed through.
Note: We strongly recommend that customers CLEARLY MARK ANY PLPATCHPOINTS AS SUCH IN ANY PATCH BAY, BECAUSE THESE POINTS CARRY 30V DC VOLTAGE !
