Partyline: Can I connect a remote speaker to the CS-702 portable main station?
Question: I'm using theCS-702 main station and can't always have the headphone on my head to monitor conversations on the party-line channels. Can I use the earphone output connected to a powered fostex speaker to monitor the PL chatter?
Answer: Yes the earphone output on the CS-702 can drive a listen only set of earphones and or be used with a powered speaker to monitor the party-line audio. The earphone jack supports a 3.5mm tip/ring/sleeve plug and can support a balanced or unbalanced output. It is wired in parallel with the headset jack.
