Digital Partyline: How does the HMS-4X base station analog 4-wire module ID itself with a Matrix Frame?

Digital Partyline: How does the HMS-4X base station analog 4-wire module ID itself with a Matrix Frame?

Question:  I'm connecting a HelixNet HMS-4X base station to my Eclipse Pico frame via the 4-wire analog module using standard CAT-5 cable.  When I do an auto discovery with ECS software it attempts to ID the Eclipse frame port as a CCI-22 interface, not a direct 4-wire.  Is this correct?
Answer:  Yes , it is identified as a CCI-22 interface not a 4-Wire direct because it passes call signal to and from the matrix as well as audio. That way Eclipse regards it as a wired party-line system.
