Partyline: Can I route / control levels on the main program in feed on a MS-704 to specific channels?
Question: Can I route the program input feed on the SB-704 main station to specific channels (A, B, C or D) and also control the audio levels on a specific program feed?
Answer: Yes, the main program input feed via the 3-pin XLR on the rear panel of the SB-704 party-line panel can be routed to specific intercom channels via the hidden dip switches on the front panel of the SB-704 panel. Remove the face plate cover to access the dip switches that turn on / off the program feed to individual channels. The program feed levels to individual channels are also controlled via recessed screwdriver controls. The SB-704 user manual discusses these dip switches and audio level controls and their location on the front pane of the SB-704 panel.
