Question: When I change the IP address of the matrix, the matrix resets. What kind of reset is this?
Answer: When the IP address of a matrix is changed from the Layout page or from event log, the matrix resets automatically in the same way that it does when you Apply Map with reset (to initialise new hardware or add trunks) in the Apply Map to Matrix dialog.
Note that if you have multiple matrices in a linked-set (trunked), you will need to apply changes to all matrices to initialise the new IP address of one frame. This must be done manually after changing the IP address of one matrix in your linked-set.
