Wireless: Does the Tempest CCT-RT-EX line extender work with all radio module firmware versions?

Wireless: Does the Tempest CCT-RT-EX line extender work with all radio module firmware versions?

Question:  I would like to extend the range of my Tempest 2400 remote transceiver module by adding the line extender module, does the line extender support older firmware  / older radio module Tempest systems and is the extender powered by the base station or does it require its own local power to operate?
Answer:  The line extender module is compliant with all versions of Tempest base station firmware / CCT-RT or CCT-9RT remote transceiver radio module firmware versions.
Each CCT-RT-EX line extender requires local DC power to operate, it is not powered by the base station.
