Voice 2.0 IP Interface / Softvoice Port/Firewall

Description:
We are using the two voice 2.0 for commnunications between OB truck and a master controll room. We often experience problems with connecting through firewalls at the different productions sites we visit. Which ports does the Voice 2.0 use by default? Which ports does the softvoice use by default? Is it possible to changes these ports to something else (more frequent used ports)?
Answer:
The most common issue with the voice unit is that the disconnect timer is set too high This means that if there is loss of connection the Voice2 unit can take a long time to time out before attempting to re-connect.
Please check that the Voice2 unit disconnect timer is set to 7-10 secs (Go to Voice2 > Configuration > network > Advanced Tab
The default TCPIP port number is 4569 This can be changed on both the Voice unit and the Softvoice . BUT !! value used must be the same on both units.  You can download the Voice2/Soft-Voice manual from here
