Wireless: Why is there no Call Signal from my Tempest to my wired Clear-Com Party Line 2wire system?

Wireless: Why is there no Call Signal from my Tempest to my wired Clear-Com Party Line 2wire system?

In order for the call-signal to be transmitted to the wired Clear-Com 2wire circuit, there needs to be a small DC voltage "tickle" over the audio path. On the front of the Tempest basestation there is a 3-way selector switch that allows you to select different manufacturer types of 2wire circuits. This selector switch should be set to match the type of wired 2wire system connected to the Tempest basestation as different manufacters use different call-signal schemes.Ensure the switch is set for CC operation
BAL = 2 wire balanced systems -  AudioCom. (Telex)CC = 2 wire systems from Clear-Com RTS = 2wires systems from RTS
To send a call signal to the 2wire circuit, select the channel talk button and simultaneously press the CALL button on the Tempest beltpack.
