Partyline: Can I connected a TW-47 into a PL chain?
I would like to enquire on the TW-47 interfacing walkie talkie to existing MS-704 with current configuration of 4 channel zones of belt packs.
The manual pg 1-3, advised that the TW-47 "should" connect to a separate output channel to the TW-47 but we would like to check whether the TW-47 can share with one of the channels by plugging it straight into one of the existing intercom receptacle points?
If it can share the channel, are there any possible issues we need to be aware of?
Answer: Yes you can connect the TW-47 to one of the intercom channels on your MS-704 unit , you can daisy chain it from another unit on the same channel
Please note that the TW-47 - triggers the walkie talkie whenever a call signal is sent to the channel it is connected to. You will also have to make your own special cable from the TW-47 to the walkie / talkie unit
