Matrix: Why does the Eclipse IP devices page sometimes not reflect the IP clients (Agent-IC and IP V-series panels) which are known to be connected to the IVC-32 card?

Q. Why does the Eclipse IP devices page sometimes not reflect the IP clients (Agent-IC and IP V-series panels) which are known to be connected to the IVC-32 card?

This is due to a known limitation with the IP Manager screen, which can affect IP panels and now Agent-IC clients. Navigating away from and then returning to the EHX IP devices screen can cause it to become out of sync with the Matrix and fail to show connected IP devices.

The IP Manager screen will show true again after a download with Reset of the matrix or if the end device reconnects. In current EHX systems, you can use the EHX monitoring screen for the device connection status. Devices which are in different subnets can often have their diagnostics packets ignored.
Applies to Agent-IC connecting to Eclipse -HX 9.1 or earlier versions

Please note when using the IP devices (Manager) screen The CPU card sends out a IP-IVC Panel discovery packet using - udp\5000 bc

if the IP panel (IVC mode) is on a different subnet .. the panel may not be discovered
