Wireless: Can I use two CellCom bases together using the same map / System ID # on the same network?

Question:  I want to use two CellCom bases in the following configuration:  One base is the master operating base connected to the system antennas and wired intercom ports.  The second base station is a backup base using the same configuration map / system ID, the second base is only connected to the local area network with a different IP address.  The idea here is to have a second base ready to go if the main base station experiences a failure.  Is this an allowed configuration?
Answer:  The system ID # is part of the mac address of a particular base station, so if you have two bases with the same configuration map they will have the same system ID and also the same mac address which will cause network problems on the LAN.  Therefore it is not advisable to setup two systems in this manner and have them connected to same local area network even if they have different IP addresses.
