Matrix: PIA-32 Matrix +3 to Matrix +2 interface pinout information
The PIA-32 is a stand-alone, one-rack-space translator that converts Matrix Plus 3 ports to Matrix Plus II ports. It allows existing Matrix Plus II systems, interfaces, and accessories to be used with Matrix Plus 3 systems without modification.
The user simply connects the RJ45 jack to an existing Matrix +3 MVX-A8 or MTX-A8 port and connects the DB-15F to a Matrix +2 IMF-1 interface rack with TEL-12, CCI-22, FOR-22 or RLY-8 cards or a Matrix +2 frame port for trunking and programs them from the M+3 software program PGM-WIN. The PIA-32 supports up to 6 M+3 to M+2 conversions.
This interface is not compatible with Eclipse ECS or EHX systems, in order to use interface cards from an IMF-1 frame the user would need to place the interface cards in either a IMF-3 or IMF-102 frame with 7100538 rear interface cards.
