Matrix: What are the specifications of the Eclipse Pico's battery backup?
The Eclipse Pico is fitted with a Lithium non-rechargeable battery to maintain the system memory that stores the configuration maps and other system data in the event of a power failure or if the unit is powered down for a period of time.
The Eclipse battery is normally a 1/2AA 3V Varta part # 6127201301, it has a capacity of 970 mAh and a life of approximately 252 days.
Next to the battery is a jumper plug to enable / disable the battery:
Select 1- 2 battery backup enabled
Select 2 -3 memory volatile (configuration lost on power failure or power down)
CPU card will retain data so long as the battery voltage remains above 1.5V. 2.5V
