Matrix: How many E-FIB and E-QUE cards can fitted to a Omega frame?

Up to two E-FIB fibre cards and four E-QUE cards can be fitted to an Eclipse Omega frame due to power supply considerations.  An Excel chart is attached that allows the user to determine if the frame PSUs will supply the necessary power to a configured frame.   See diagram below for proper slot assignments if adding multiple E-FIB and E-QUE cards in the same frame.
Only one “E-FIB fibre” and one “E-FIB fibre (Redundant)” can be added. Attempts to add more will result in an error message generated by ECS.  It is recommended that E-FIB cards are fitted in slots 14 and/or 15 of Omega matrices due to port numbering considerations.
E-QUE cards should be fitted to the rightmost free slots in the Omega (furthest from the config cards but if mixed with E-FIB cards they should be fitted to the left of the E-FIB cards).  A maximum of four E-QUE and IVC-32 cards can be fitted to an Omega matrix regardless of the E-QUE card mode.  If the user attempts to add more than four E-QUE and IVC-32 cards in total to the matrix an error message is displayed in ECS.
