Matrix: Which expansion panels does the ICS-1008/1016 panel support?
Matrix: Which expansion panels does the ICS-1008/1016 panel support?
The ICS-1008 and ICS-1016 main panels only support the EXP-1016 expansion panel. The expansion panels are connected to the main panel via a short DB-9F / DB-9M cable and the expansion panel is powered by the ICS-1008/1016 mains panel. Only one EXP-1016 expansion panel can be attached to an ICS-1008 or ICS-1016 mains panel. To add an expansion panel to an ICS main panel select the required ICS main panel and go to Advanced Settings in Matrix Hardware, select the Panel Options menu, click the drop-down arrow and select the appropriate expansion panel. This enables the expansion panel to be programmed from ECS. In Panel Programming select the ICS main panel required and then open the menu to the right of the main panel select to display the expansion panel.
