Wireless: How do I unlock CellCom Integra Beltpack menus in ECS 5.1.1?
Wireless: How do I unlock CellCom Integra Beltpack menus in ECS 5.1.1?
Some CellCom beltpack users using 3k010183 firmware have experienced menu access issues when used with ECS 5.1.1 E-QUE frame systems when the beltpacks are initially registered to the frame in ECS. Menu items such as sidetone, limiter, master volume etc can be denied access when the user wants to locally change these settings.
The beltpack menus can be unlocked using two different methods:
Option A) Connect the beltpack to the PC via a PD4007 cable, power on the beltpack and open the ECS configuration and go to the Beltpacks menu and select "Change Connected Beltpack's user settings". This will open a beltpack serial settings dialog screen allowing the user to change the beltpack menu parameters per the users specifications. Click on OK to flash the new settings to the beltpack and close the dialog screen.
Option B) The other method is to open the new CellCom version 2.26 configuration editor and edit the menu settings via the configuration editor. Simply connect a beltpack to the PD4007 cable, power on the beltpack, select beltpack menu and press the "Set Defaults" button. This will open a new dialog screen, select/change the beltpack menu items from the left-hand side of the screen and then select/press the "WRITE BELTPACK SETTINGS" button to initiate the change on the connected beltpack.
Using either of these procedures will allow the user to access and locally change menu items on the beltpacks.
