Wireless: Does Tempest support DHCP connections on the Basestation?

Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a system that allows each component on a computer network to automatically obtain the network address information required for Network Interface Devices to communicate with one another.Normally there is one central DHCP server and all other devices are set to DHCP client mode. The DHCP clients will then obtain their IP address, subnet mask and default gateway information from the DHCP server. Most 10/100 Ethernet devices are compatible and should configure properly when the BaseStation is set for automatic DHCP.
The Tempest basestation can be set either as a DHCP server and provide IP addresses for up to 5 client unitsIt can also be set-up in DHCP client mode and be provided its IP address info from the local DHCP server
With DHCP enabled on a Local Area Network (LAN), all network connected Tempest Wireless BaseStations will automatically log on to T-Desk running on a single computer. Automatic addressing includes TCP/IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.
Connect each Tempest BaseStation to the Local Area Network (LAN) with a standard CAT-5 patch cable to a Ethernet-switch and open T-Desk on a computer that is connected to the same router or DHCP server as the BaseStations. After about 10 seconds the BaseStation information will begin to load into T-Desk.
