Wireless: 4-wire Matrix intercom pinouts for the Pro850 Wireless System

Question:  Can I use a standard CAT-5 patch cable to make a 4-wire connection from a Matrix or Eclipse digital intercom frame to a Pro850 wireless base station?
Answer:  Yes, a standard straight CAT-5 or CAT-6 patch cable can be used to make a 4-wire connection from a Matrix frame to the HME Pro850 base station.  Use the rear RJ45 connectors for 600Ω balanced interface of PRO850 Channel 1 or Channel 2 with other cabled intercoms. Pin designations are as follows:









Note:  There is no intelligent handshake back to the Matrix frame as pins 1, 2, 7 and 8 have no connection or loopback to the frame.
